"By relaxing the mind, you can reconnect with that primordial, original ground, which is completely pure and simple.  Out of that, through the medium of your perceptions, you can discover magic, or drala."

Drala Meditation Hike: Las Conchas Trail

    Saturday, June 9, 2018

The Las Conchas trail is an easy hike that follows the East Fork of the Jemez River and meanders through conifer forests and open meadows. The hike will be four miles round trip and we will be observing noble silence and connecting with our senses as we walk through this beautiful New Mexico landscape.

Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, a jacket, lunch and snacks, and a kneeling pad or something else to sit on for occasional stops for sitting or meditation. The trail can be muddy so be prepared with waterproof hiking boots. We will carpool so bring gas money to offer to the driver.
